Last year, we acquired a 10 CD st of music from our youth titled "Malt Shop Memories". Smokey Robinson, Martha and the Vandellas, Bobby Vee, Richie Valens The Beach Boys and many more. We loaded up the CD player and have enjoyed the music very much. Its amazing how the lyrics stay in your mind forever.
This year, we acquired another 10 CD set from Time life " The Ultimate Rock Ballads" with artist such as Winger, Alice Cooper, Meat Loaf, Survivor, Foreigner, Chicago REO Speedwagon etc.. We again loaded up the CD player and we are singing along with many of these classic Rock and Roll artist.
As a bit of Trivia, who can anser the following questions?
1. Gary Wright is famous for what famous rock Ballad?
2. Who is the recording artist for "Big Lug" ?
Has any one listened to Owl City or Big Pink? What do you think about these groups?
